The Balama Project shares Christ with unreached communities through its Jesus Film Ministry. The Jesus Film is a brief video on the life and teachings of Christ produced in the native language of the people translated from the Gospel according to Luke. The film serves two purposes: (1) it tells the gospel story in a way that eliminates language barriers; (2) and it serves as an evening entertainment for villagers, some of whom have never seen a motion picture. Upon viewing the film, we lead a discussion regarding the content of the film and organize viewers into Bible study groups. God is using the Jesus film in a powerful way to reach people and build spiritual movements throughout the world and in Balama.
